Two Found Dead After Maryland House Fire; Child Treated For Injuries, Officials Say

Two people were found dead inside a Prince George's County home that went up in flames overnight, officials confirmed.

Fire crews were called shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Monday night to the 13000 block of Martin Road, where there was a home fully engulfed in flames in Brandywine. 

Once the flames were knocked down, firefighters found two people dead inside the home, fire officials said. No information about their identities has been released by investigators. 

A child was also taken to an area hospital for evaluation of undisclosed injuries.

The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation.
